You have to isolate x, resulting in 
2x = 3/5 - 5/15 + 4/10
Find the LCM
2x = 18/30 - 10/30 + 12/30
Combine like terms
2x = 20/30
Simplify
2x = 2/3
Divide
x = 1/3
