it ranged from northern England at Hadrians wall as far south as northern africa and from the iberian peninsur in the west to the western border with china, so basicly the whole mediteranian region, central mainland europe (not the scandinavian countries) nor did it cover ireland or scotland(they tried by invading scotland but it was never subdued and ireland they didnt even bother with)
