How to use implicit differentiation to find an equation of the tangent line?

The slope of the line is the dy/dx value every time it appears in the differential equation. By substituting values for x and y in the DE, the slope can be found for the tangent at a point. This is the value of m in y=mx+a. To find a, plug in the tangent point.
