The second treaty of Fort Laramie signed in 1868 ended the Red Cloud's War. The second treaty of Fort Laramie is also known as the Sioux Treaty of 1868. The treaty also declared that the Black Hills of Dakota as part of the Great Sioux Reservation and should only be exclusively used by Sioux Indian population. But the treaty was a failure.
