Total area of the figure = area of traingle on top + area of big rectangle - area of the small reactangle.
[tex] = \frac{1}{2} (2)(8) + (6)(8) - (5)(6 - 4) \\ = 8 + 48 - 10 \\ =4 6[/tex]
Therefore the required area here is 46 yards sqaured.
